Civic Simulations: Engagement With Democratic Processes
Simulations of democratic processes offer students a chance to activate civic knowledge. Simulations (mock trials and hearings) are easy for teachers to implement and give students an opportunity to demonstrate the 21st-century learning skills of teamwork, public speaking, analytical thinking, and the ability to argue both sides of a topic.
